Emotional distress is often present in patients who are diagnosed with a serious illness or medical condition. This can include anxiety, depression, medical trauma/post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). At this presentation we will discuss:
- Seeking help: whether to do it, when to do it, how to do it?
- Developing a “coping toolbox”
- The role of caregivers
- Pain management issues and desired outcomes
This free program is open to the community and pre-registration is suggested. Contact Rosemary with any questions.
