There's always something going on at the Lakeland Hills Family YMCA, whether you're a child, family, teen, adult or older adult, we have plenty of fun activities for you! And, many are open to non-members!

Start your day off right and join us for a cuppa joe and other tasty treats. Meet some of your member friends and neighbors while enjoying a snack and good company. It’s free, no registration needed. Non-members welcome.

Free Blood Pressure Screening
Nov 6 @ 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm

Available to all adults on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month from 5:30-7:00 p.m. and the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month from 9:30-11:00 a.m. No Wednesday Screenings during the summer. Wednesday screenings resume in September. Non-members welcome.

New technology got you baffled? Learn all the tricks from the experts – our teen Leaders! They’ll teach you everything you’ll want to know from text messaging and opening a Facebook account (so you can share photos with your grandkids) to tweeting with celebrities! Bring your cell phone, iPod or another piece of portable technology with you. The class is free and open to the community but you must pre-register. Non-members welcome.

A Night of Conversation – From Prescription to Addiction
Nov 19 @ 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

Learn how to openly discuss drug and alcohol abuse with your children, your parents, your family. You will be shocked to discover how prescription drug use can escalate from a few pain pills to addiction. Find out what’s new in our fight against the opiod crisis, explore other options for acute or chronic pain, and what you can do for someone who truly needs help. Morris County’s Hope One mobile van will be onsite for information and education. Program is free and open to all.
