New technology got you baffled? Learn all the tricks from the experts – our teen Leaders! They’ll teach you everything you’ll want to know from text messaging and opening a Facebook account (so you can share photos with your grandkids) to tweeting with celebrities! Bring your cell phone, iPod or another piece of portable technology with you. The class is free and open to the community but you must pre-register. Non-members welcome.

Family Fun Night

All sorts of fun and surprises await you during our pirate-themed family fun night for young member families. Early Childhood Learning Center students and Kids Club participants welcome at $5 per child. Sign up now, space is limited.

Type 2 Diabetes – How To Reduce Your Risk

Whether you are pre-diabetic or diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, join us for a free one-hour program with the experts from Atlantic Health. The presentation will include an educational and informative session on the realities, and the myths, of living with diabetes; coping strategies, how to manage a healthy lifestyle, and more. The Opioid Crisis – Training to Respond

You might think it could never happen to someone you love or someone you know. YOU ARE WRONG. Join us when the Morris County Prevention is Key and the Mountain Lakes Health Department present a training that will teach you how to respond to a drug overdose. This one-hour program is free, open to all, and will include:

  • Overdose Prevention Strategies
  • Signs and Symptoms of Overdose
  • Now to Administer Naloxone
  • Rescue Breathing
  • Overdose Prevention Legal Rights
  • Support Information and Resources
