We rely heavily on volunteers in almost every area of the facility
Volunteers are more evident than ever at the committee level, so we’re asking you to consider serving on one of our fourteen committees. It’s where decisions are made!
What does it take to be a volunteer committee member? First and foremost – interest, but also an ability to consider the needs of others, and a desire to help. Setting goals, clarifying purpose, interpreting policies, rating equipment, and becoming advocates of the Y are just a few of the responsibilities. Committees meet just once a month for an hour, eight times during the year.
Think you have what it takes to serve on a committee?
