Summer Day Camp Programs

The focus of the Lakeland Hills Family YMCA Summer Day Camps is to foster individuality, creativity, socialization, and fun inside of our campers!

Grade for options below are based on entering grade in September.

The Y has developed a comprehensive summer camp program that delivers age-appropriate fun and discovery for kids ages 2½ years through 12th grade. Our camp grows with your child offering campers a place where friendships are forged, memories are made, and the sense of security to take risks and express their true selves is found. We focus on individuality, creativity, socialization, and fun!

Our summer camp program encourages and supports the participation of individuals with disabilities in all programs and services. Inclusion in our summer camp means that individuals with disabilities (including but not limited to: ADD, ADHD, ODD, OCD, Sensory Issues and Spectrum Disorders) are welcome to participate in the same environment as their peers. The SKOR Village will allow campers to be exposed to the same activities as day camp, but with an individualized schedule and a counselor assigned to a minimum of two campers. The counselors of these groups will work with a Behavior Specialist to target a wide range of skills including conversations: (i.e. winning and losing, personal space, joining a group, social cues and so much more).

Our team of qualified staff ensures that your child has a fun, successful, quality experience within a camp setting. If an aide is provided, at the parent’s expense, we are happy to work with them to ensure the best outcome for your child. Aides recruited by families will be required to go through YMCA training and background checks. Additional information and an intake meeting with the new families is required prior to enrollment.

For more information, contact Camp Director, Shannon Bujoreanu.

$550 Members | $570 Non-members

An additional $35 per child will be charged for the Session 2 Camp Trip. If you opt out, you will not be charged for the trip, but there will be no camp on this day. Click on Optional Trip tab on this page for trip details.

Extended camp (before care, after care, vacation camp) is not offered, as we do not have our Behavior Specialist staff available during those particular programs.
