Enrichment & Combo

Our youth enrichment classes are a terrific way to allow your child to explore their special interests, develop their talents, and have fun!

Our programs are designed to work with children of all ages and abilities. We focus on teamwork, sportsmanship, body awareness, flexibility, balance, coordination, skill development, and creativity. At the same time, children build their self-esteem and confidence as they develop a lifelong desire for physical fitness and learning.

Swim, Gym & Fun

3 – 5 Years Old | Need to Be Potty Trained

Non-Members Welcome

This class is designed to complement preschool. Encouraging confidence, creativity and a sense of belonging are all goals. An instructor-led sports and games class combined with a 1/2-hour swim lesson, promotes healthy exercise, self control, and good habits. Social play, art, and science, coupled with kindness and manners, makes this a great enrichment program for your preschooler. Pack a light snack and drink. Class runs Thursdays and Fridays from 9:15 a.m. to Noon for seven weeks. Choose one or both days.

One day per week: $102 members; $153 non-members

Makerspace Class

Pre-K-1st Grade

What is Makerspace? It’s a place to gather tools, materials, and technology to create, invent, tinker, design, fabricate, or otherwise enable participants to “make something.” No previous knowledge or skills necessary. Non-members welcome.

Classes take place on Wednesdays from 4:00-4:45 p.m.

TechTime

7-12 years

Non-Members Welcome

Here, your child will explore the world of coding which helps them with communication, creativity, math, writing, and confidence. It also teaches them how technology around them operates and encourages them to develop important problem solving skills.

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)

4–6 Years Old

This class is about problem solving, having fun, and figuring things out.  We will experiment by taking things apart and putting them back together again. Your curious child will enjoy the “why” and “how” of critical thinking and develop problem solving skills in the process.

Youth who participate in STEM activities:

  • Learn how to solve a problem
  • Develop critical-thinking skills
  • Get comfortable with failure and trying again
  • Learn to work successfully in teams
  • Develop self-confidence
  • Are able to see themselves in STEM careers

Caution: Fun Ahead! Be a part of the crew on our construction site! Our foreman will have lots of fun activities for kids using real tools which will promote fine motor skills, critical thinking, and teamwork. Build a brick wall and knock it down with a wrecking ball or paint a kid-size cardboard house. Class is zoned to include crafts, games, sensory bins, stories, and songs.

Storybooks – both exciting new literature and old familiar favorites will be the focus of this class. After listening to our story, we will engage in fun activities including arts & crafts, cooking, and STEM that make the books come to life.

This class is an introduction to the basic principles of screenwriting and filmmaking. Students will learn how to think critically about how films are put together in terms of structure, sound, pictures, dialogue, and character. Students will work on a script for short film.
