The opening ceremonies were very moving and included the lighting of the symbolic Olympic Torch and the recitation of the Olympic Creed by all of the athletes. “Let me win. But if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt.” Approximately 70 athletes competed and were recognized on the podium for their outstanding efforts. This wonderful event that provides the opportunity for these athletes to compete with their peers would not be possible without the large number of student and adult volunteers who turn out every year. Congrats everyone!
