Patrick Garvey

Counselor

Hello, I am a college student currently attending County College of Morris. My major is liberal arts and I will receive my associates degree at the end of this upcoming fall semester. I am very interested in team sports and particularly in ice hockey. I played ice hockey all throughout my childhood and continue to do so occasionally. My other interests include outdoor activities such as camping and hiking. I have worked with or around children in previous jobs such as my job on the ice crew of the New Jersey Devils and my part time jobs at Mount Olive School District as summer cleaning help and substitute custodian during the school year. This is my first year working at YMCA.

Rachel Gundlach

Counselor

Hi my name is Rachel Gundlach and I am super excited to be returning to YMCA as a camp counselor for the third summer. I love kids and I cannot wait to have a blast! I am currently studying Elementary Education at Clemson University. Outside of school I have various interests. In high school I was on my school swim team as well as a member of the drama club. In college I joined the climbing club (yes, rock climbing is a real sport!) and I am looking forward to joining Central Spirit which is a group of energetic students that “paint up” and cheer on the Clemson Tigers at the major sporting events. In addition, I love going to the beach and spending time with my friends and family. I cannot wait to meet my campers. BRING ON SUMMER 2018!

Jessica Prentice

Specialist - Challenge

My name is Jessica Prentice. I graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Education. Since then I have worked in several school districts in the Morris and Sussex county area for about 10 years. I am currently working as a 6th grade English teacher. Outside of school, I love arts and crafts, football, and gardening. I look forward to the warm weather, so I can spend all my time outside with my family and friends. As a child, I attended several summer camps for soccer and girl scouts which were always the highlight of my summer vacation. I look forward to making my second summer at the YMCA awesome for everybody!
