Heather Devine

Site Director

Hello! My name is Heather and I am excited to return to Kids Club for another year. This is my sixth year of working Kids Club with the YMCA. I enjoy working with kids because it’s very rewarding to help them in a health and fitness manner. As a kid, health and fitness was never taught as well as it should be and I wish I knew more when I was younger. In my spare time I enjoy working out by doing yoga and CrossFit. I graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a minor in Studio Art. I spent this last summer working for the Girl Scouts Summer Camp as the Arts and Crafts Specialist and I can’t wait to show Kids Club all the fun activities I learned along the way!

Ashley DeMare

Hello Kids Club parents, my name is Ashley De Mare. I am currently studying Graphic Design at County College of Morris and hope to transfer to Kean University within the next year. I have been working with children for about seven years now and I absolutely love it! This is my fifth year working at Kids Club and I cannot wait to see what this year brings! I would like to thank you all for putting your trust in me with your children and I will be sure to take care of them as you would and have them leaving with a smile on their faces every day!

Donna Ricciardi

With many years of experience as a mom and as a liaison for children, teachers and parents, Kids Club after school program is an outlet for my energy and creativity. Both my daughters are currently college graduates building their own careers, but beginning with pre-school, I chose to become very involved in their pre-college educational environment. Cooperative nursery school and volunteering enabled me to ultimately support all the children in our community. During this new chapter of my life, Kids Club allows me the opportunity to support the children of LHYMCA families while creating and experiencing afternoons of fun!

Cole Hopler

My name is Cole Hopler, I am 21 years old and am going to County College of Morris this fall to continue towards my teaching degree. Two of main hobbies in life are sports and working with children of all ages. For the past four summers I’ve worked at Summer Plus Camp in Denville, and taught baseball lessons to kids briefly at The Baseball Station during the winter of my junior year at Morris Knolls High School. I would like to help make a positive impact on kids’ lives whether it’s at camp, here at Kids Club, or as a teacher in the future. The best memory that I have from anything camp related when I was younger was when I used to go the baseball camp that Morris Knolls hosted in the summers for young kids to attend. There was one coach named Casey Elias, and he was one the main reasons why I fell in love with the game of baseball and still play to this day. It made my camp experience fun and memorable. I would like to one day leave a long-lasting impression on someone’s life like Casey had on mine.
