My name is Alyakim Meadows and I am a 24 year-old college student who has worked with children for eight years. Over the last few years, I have worked at Spring Lake Day Camp as well as my local Y in Wayne, NJ. As a “Y” kid myself, I will always remember the impact and positive influence my counselors made on me as a child. Now as an adult, it is my time to make sure I give back the same experience and positivity to your children.

Brooke Olson

Support Staff PM

Hello, my name is Brooke Olsson and this is my second year at Kids Club. I attend Boonton High School as a senior and have been playing varsity field hockey since freshman year. I love sports and spending time working with children. I have experience with young kids and enjoy seeing them happy while doing activities. I was an L.I.T (leader in training) at Camp Nejeda the past two summers. This program taught me how to create safe activities, how to bond with children, and how to keep the kids safe while having fun.

I also volunteer at a local hospital for another kid program. At this program, we go to many different places around the county. It is my job to watch over the kids and participate in the activities they are doing. Overall, I love kids and I promise to you that I will do my best to keep your children safe while having a blast at the same time.

Cole Hopler

Floater

My name is Cole Hopler, I am 21 years old and am going to County College of Morris this upcoming fall to continue towards my teaching degree. Two of main hobbies in life are sports and working with children of all ages. For the past four summers I’ve worked at Summer Plus Camp in Denville, and taught baseball lessons to kids briefly at The Baseball Station during the winter of my junior year at Morris Knolls High School. I would like to help make a positive impact on kids lives whether it’s at camp, here at Kids Club, or as a teacher in the future. The best memory that I have from anything camp related when I was younger was when I used to go the baseball camp that Morris Knolls hosted in the summers for young kids to attend. There was one coach in particular named Casey Elias, and he was one the main reasons why I fell in love with the game of baseball and still play to this day. It made my camp experience fun and memorable. I would like to one day leave a long lasting impression on someone’s life like Casey had on mine.
