Kids Club Riverview School Staff

Heather Divine (Site Director AM)

Hello! My name is Heather and I am excited to return to Kids Club for another year. This is my fifth year of working Kids Club with the YMCA. I enjoy working with kids because it’s very rewarding to help them in a health and fitness manner. As a kid, health and fitness was never taught as well as it should be and I wish I knew more when I was younger. In my spare time I enjoy working out by doing yoga and CrossFit. I just graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a minor in Studio Art. I spent this last summer working for the Girl Scouts Summer Camp as the Arts and Crafts Specialist and I can’t wait to show kids club all the fun activities I learned along the way!

I have been working with children for about six years and I absolutely love it! This is my fourth year working at Kids Club and I cannot wait to see what this year brings! I would like to thank you all for putting your trust in me with your children and I will be sure to take care of them as you would and have them leaving with a smile on their faces every day!

Carly Carroll

Support Staff AM

I am Carlotta Carroll, going on my sophomore year of college at the County College of Morris. I went to Parsippany Hills High School where I cheered for all 4 years and coached our recreation team Little Vikings. I was also a gymnast until I started high school. I love being around kids and being active, I find it fun and satisfying. I plan to make this a fun experience for myself and whomever I am working with. I am a bubbly, welcoming, outgoing person who loves to be around new people. I hope this school year is a memorable experience.

I graduated from William Paterson University with a BA in Education and Sociology. I have a Special Education certification. I am proud to say that I have been teaching in the Montville Township public schools for the past eight years. Prior to teaching, I worked as a para-professional for seven years working with Special Needs children. This past summer, I had a blast working as a Specialist at the Y Summer Camp teaching Environmental Science. In my spare time, I enjoy outdoor activities such as gardening, hiking, kayaking and ponding.

I’m excited about the upcoming school year and the wonderful people I will be working with.

During the past twelve summers I have worked at Denville’s Recreation Summer Plus camp. First as a counselor in training, counselor, and then a supervisor. In my spare time I especially enjoy playing soccer and any other sports or outdoor activities. My goal each day is to ensure that every child who is part of the Kids Club program is involved and having fun! As a former participant in the program, I want to make sure they enjoy it as much as I did. I am very excited to be working with the Kid’s Club children!

Hello, my name is Chelsea Cuneo, and this is my second year at Kids Club. I am currently attending Morris Knolls High School as a senior. After I graduate, I plan on attending college and majoring in interior design. I enjoy practicing gymnastics and spending time with family and friends. I’ve enjoyed babysitting for families in my town as well. As a child, one of the things I looked forward to the most was attending summer camp at Valleyview Middle School. I looked up to the counselors because of their caring personalities and I hope to give that same experience to your children.

Cole Hopler

My name is Cole Hopler, I am 21 years old and am going to County College of Morris this upcoming fall to continue towards my teaching degree. Two of main hobbies in life are sports and working with children of all ages. For the past four summers I’ve worked at Summer Plus Camp in Denville, and taught baseball lessons to kids briefly at The Baseball Station during the winter of my junior year at Morris Knolls High School. I would like to help make a positive impact on kids lives whether it’s at camp, here at Kids Club, or as a teacher in the future. The best memory that I have from anything camp related when I was younger was when I used to go the baseball camp that Morris Knolls hosted in the summers for young kids to attend. There was one coach in particular named Casey Elias, and he was one the main reasons why I fell in love with the game of baseball and still play to this day. It made my camp experience fun and memorable. I would like to one day leave a long lasting impression on someone’s life like Casey had on mine.
