Lake Valhalla Country Club Camp

Get ready for the ultimate summer adventure at the Lakeland Hills Family YMCA’s Rockaway River Country Club Camp! Nestled in the beautiful surroundings of a country club, this camp is packed with all the fun, learning, and new experiences your child could want. From golf lessons to swimming, tennis to arts and crafts, every day brings something new to explore. Whether they’re making new friends or discovering a passion for sports, this camp is the perfect spot for kids to stay active, build confidence, and create memories that will last a lifetime. With something for every interest and the expertise of the YMCA, your child is sure to have an unforgettable summer!

• Camp is available for 6–10-year-olds

• Week Sessions: June 22 – August 141
• Aftercare is available from 3:00-5:00 pm

• 3 30-minute group tennis lessons with tennis pro (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays)

• Catered lunch & snacks daily
• Recreational swimming period daily (weather permitting)
• 10 different morning rotations each week including
• Arts & Crafts
• Harmony Academy (Character Building)
• Lego Engineering & Construction
• Teambuilding Activities
• Minute to Win It Games
• Shark Tank (Create & Present Inventions)
• Camp Classic Games
• STEAM Activities
• Sports & Field Games
• One fun and exciting theme day activity for each week. Theme days are scheduled on Monday Afternoons.

• The Program Runs from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

• Campers can be dropped off beginning at 8:30 am.
• Campers should be picked up no later than 3:30 pm, unless they are in after-care.
• Campers should bring a bathing suit and towel each day.
• Campers must wear sneakers to camp.
• Campers should bring a tennis racket on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Lakeland Hills Family YMCA camp has been our go-to for years. We’ve had our kids in both the main camp and the Rockaway River Country Club camp, and the experience is consistently excellent, fun, structured, and incredibly well run. They stay engaged all day with swimming, games, crafts, and new activities, and they always come home smiling. The counselors are warm, attentive, and make every child feel included, and as a parent I truly appreciate how safe and organized everything is. We already can’t wait to come back next summer.
