CHILD CARE AND CAMPS

Lakeland Hills Family YMCA supports children and families at every stage, from early learning through school-age programs, summer camp, youth enrichment, and beyond. Our Early Childhood Learning Center, camp programs, Child Watch, and youth offerings provide safe, caring spaces where children can learn, play, grow in confidence, and build meaningful friendships. Whether families need trusted childcare, a fun and active camp experience, or programs that help kids discover new interests, the Y creates opportunities for children to achieve, belong, and build relationships that last.

YOUTH AND TEEN

The Y gives youth and teens a safe, welcoming place to discover who they are, what they enjoy, and what they are capable of achieving. Through programs focused on leadership, creativity, fitness, STEM, esports, enrichment, and special events, kids and teens can try new things, develop confidence, and build positive relationships. These programs help young people grow beyond the classroom by encouraging teamwork, independence, responsibility, and connection. Whether they are making new friends, learning a new skill, or stepping into a leadership role, youth and teens are supported every step of the way.

HEALTH AND WELLNESS

At Lakeland Hills Family YMCA, health and wellness is for every body, every age, and every fitness level. From group exercise and personal training to active older adult programs, adaptive programs, Reset60, community health initiatives, and wellness support, the Y helps members find a path that works for them. Our supportive environment makes it easier to get started, stay consistent, and celebrate progress. Whether your goal is to build strength, increase energy, improve mobility, reduce stress, or simply feel better, the Y offers programs and people to help you move forward with confidence.

SWIMMING

Swimming is a lifelong skill that builds confidence, safety, strength, and independence. Lakeland Hills Family YMCA offers swim programs for all ages and abilities, from parent and child water safety and youth swim lessons to adult swim, adaptive swim, aquatic exercise, and competitive swim team opportunities. In the water, participants learn more than strokes and technique. They develop endurance, discipline, teamwork, and confidence that carries into other parts of life. Whether someone is learning to be safe around water, improving their skills, or training to compete, our aquatics programs help swimmers achieve personal milestones in a supportive environment.

CERTIFICATIONS

Certification programs at Lakeland Hills Family YMCA help participants gain important skills that can make a real difference in an emergency. Courses may include lifeguarding, CPR, First Aid, babysitting, and other safety-focused trainings that prepare participants to respond with knowledge and confidence. These programs strengthen the entire community by helping more people become prepared, capable, and ready to help when it matters most. Certifications can also open doors to employment, leadership opportunities, and meaningful ways to serve others.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Special events bring the Lakeland Hills Family YMCA community together throughout the year through opportunities for learning, connection, wellness, and fun. From family nights, Kids Night Out, Healthy Kids Day, and seasonal celebrations to adult-focused events featuring financial advice, medical professionals, wellness education, and community resources, there are many ways to get involved. These events are designed to meet people where they are — helping families make memories, giving adults access to helpful information, and creating spaces where members and neighbors can build relationships, feel supported, and stay connected to the community.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Lakeland Hills Family YMCA is committed to strengthening the community through programs and events that support healthy minds, bodies, and spirits. Throughout the year, we offer opportunities for members and neighbors to learn, connect, and access helpful resources. Community engagement may include wellness events, Healthy Kids Day, educational talks with doctors and health professionals, financial wellness presentations, family resources, disease prevention programs, safety education, and partnerships with local organizations. These offerings help people make informed decisions, build relationships with trusted experts, and feel supported in everyday life.

By bringing people and resources together, the Y helps create a stronger, healthier, and more connected community.

ADULT SPORTS AND GROUP FITNESS

Stay active, build strength, and connect with others through adult sports and group fitness at Lakeland Hills Family YMCA. Adults can enjoy opportunities for friendly competition, movement, and community through programs such as pickleball, basketball, volleyball, leagues, open play, and other recreational activities.

Members also have access to more than 65 group fitness classes included with membership, offering a variety of options for different interests, schedules, and fitness levels. From strength and cardio to cycling, yoga, Pilates, Mind Body Spirit classes, and active older adult options, group fitness makes it easy to find a class that helps you stay motivated and supported.

Whether you are looking to compete, try something new, improve your health, or simply enjoy moving with others, the Y offers adult programs that help you achieve your goals, build relationships, and feel connected.

ACTIVE OLDER ADULTS

Active Older Adult programs are designed to support wellness, independence, friendship, and lifelong learning. Through fitness classes, social opportunities, wellness programs, special events, and community activities, older adults can stay active, connected, and engaged.

At the Y, aging well means more than staying physically active. It means having a place to belong, people to connect with, and opportunities to continue achieving personal goals. Our programs help older adults build confidence, maintain strength and mobility, and enjoy meaningful relationships within a supportive community.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES AND RENTALS

Celebrate your child’s special day at Lakeland Hills Family YMCA with a fun, active, and memorable birthday party experience. Our parties give kids the chance to play, move, laugh, and celebrate with friends in a welcoming environment designed for connection and fun.

Whether your child loves sports, swimming, games, movement, or simply spending time with friends, the Y offers party options that help make the day feel special while giving families an easy, convenient way to celebrate. Birthday parties at the Y are about more than the event itself — they are an opportunity for children to feel celebrated, build friendships, and create memories with the people who matter most.

Lakeland Hills Family YMCA also offers rental opportunities for families, groups, and community organizations looking for welcoming spaces to gather, connect, and host meaningful events.
