At Lakeland Hills Family YMCA, we believe that soccer is more than just a game—it’s a way to inspire confidence, build friendships, and develop character both on and off the field. That’s why we’ve partnered with Juventus Academy of New Jersey, one of the world’s most respected names in soccer, to bring world-class training and youth development opportunities to our community. Together, our mission is to provide programs that blend elite instruction with the YMCA’s focus on accessibility, inclusion, and strengthening the whole child—mind, body, and spirit.
Juventus Academy NJ Open Days
Beginning September 2025, Lakeland Hills Family YMCA and Juventus Academy NJ will host monthly Open Days across Morris County. These free, family-friendly events are open to all and give children the opportunity to meet Juventus Academy coaches, participate in skill-building activities, and experience the excitement of the game. Parents will also be able to learn about upcoming programs and leagues.

Soccer Leagues Kick Off – January 2026
In January 2026, Lakeland Hills Family YMCA will officially launch its youth soccer leagues in partnership with Juventus Academy NJ. These leagues are designed for players of all skill levels, from beginners learning the fundamentals to more advanced players looking to sharpen their game with professional-level coaching.
Age Divisions: Ages 3–4, 5–7, 8–10, and 11–13
Structure: Weekly practices with Juventus-trained coaches, plus weekend games
Focus: Skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun
Registration: Opening Fall 2025

Volunteer Coaching Opportunities
We’re seeking volunteers interested in coaching youth sports. Our coaches make YMCA youth sports possible and create a lifelong impact on children by encouraging participation and emphasizing sportsmanship and strong character while they are learning basic sport skills. When you become a volunteer, the Y will introduce you to coaching and provide specific resources to the sport you coach.
