Juventus Academy NJ x Lakeland Hills Family YMCA combines professional soccer instruction with a positive, development-focused experience close to home. Players grow in technical skill, confidence, discipline, teamwork, and overall enjoyment of the game. This program is designed to support young athletes at different levels, whether they are learning the fundamentals or looking to strengthen their training in a more structured environment.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Training sessions are led by professional Juventus Academy NJ coaches and focus on age-appropriate player development in a fun, supportive setting. Players work on core soccer skills while learning the value of consistency, teamwork, and effort.
Areas of focus may include:
- Ball control
- Footwork and coordination
- Passing and receiving
- Movement and positioning
- Game awareness
- Confidence on the ball
Optional weekend games may also be available depending on program structure.
WHO IT IS FOR
This program is designed for young players who want quality training in a structured and encouraging environment.
AGES 4–7
Players build foundational skills, coordination, and confidence through age-appropriate instruction.

Players continue developing technical ability, game understanding, and stronger habits on the field.

PRE ACADEMY PLAYER PARTICIPATION OBJECTIVES
Ages 5–17 • Winter & Spring • Train 2–4 Days/Week
Our Pre-Academy Program builds confident, technically strong young athletes. Open to boys and girls ages 5–17, players train multiple times per week with certified professional coaches to develop the physical, technical, and mental skills needed for future Academy play.
What We Focus On
Motorial Skills
Balance, agility, speed, coordination, clean movement mechanics, and injury-prevention habits.
Aerobic Skills
Age-appropriate conditioning to improve endurance, stamina, and recovery during high-intensity play.
Coordination & Awareness
Eye–foot timing, reaction speed, ball tracking, rhythm, and spatial awareness for sharper control.
Soccer Technical Foundations
Ball mastery, first touch, dribbling, passing, receiving under pressure, finishing, and intro to defensive skills.
