The Lakeland Hills Family YMCA is excited to continue the legacy of the Mountain Lakes Turkey Trot, a cherished tradition that brings together the community each holiday season. This race is a fun and festive way to kick off Thanksgiving, with families, friends, and fitness enthusiasts coming together for a morning of celebration and healthy activity. Whether you’re running, walking, or cheering on participants, join us in Mountain Lakes for a memorable event that supports our community and fosters the spirit of togetherness. RACE DETAILS

The 2024 Mountain Lakes Turkey Trot takes place Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 28 (Rain or Shine). The race is a 5K and is a fun event for all ages. Ages 2 and under are free. Race starts at 9:00 AM. Check-in and registration begin at 7:30 AM. Race packets will be available for pick-up the day prior at Lakeland Hills YMCA Welcome Center. We highly recommend picking up packet day before to avoid crowds and added wait time. A map of the course and markings is here for you to download. 7:30 – Check-in and Registration
8:50 – Call to the Post
9:00 – Start Trotting

ENTRY FEE:

  • $30 – Through, Tuesday, November 19
  • $35 – Beginning Wednesday, November 20 including Thanksgiving Day.

AMENITIES:

  • Participants who register by Monday, November 11 are guaranteed an awesome t-shirt. Don’t delay!
  • DJ, coffee and hot chocolate, snacks, and fun for all.
