Children will improve their social and communication skills, learn how to work as part of a team, develop a greater sense of trust and cooperation and make new friends. YMCA dance classes also encourage participants to foster positive attitudes and express themselves through creative outlets in a safe and supportive environment. Every child gets to participate and the sessions are safe, exciting and fun. We encourage fair play, positive instruction, and family involvement. Open to non-members.

Hi, my name is Patti Eckert and I’m the gal behind “paint-n-pallet” in Montville, the DIY custom wood sign workshop. This year in honor of my mother’s birthday on November 15, we are hosting a special event for a cause that is near and dear to my family. When you sign up for this workshop a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Lakeland Hills Family YMCA’s financial aid program known as Give a Kid the Y. This program provides funds for local kids and families in need with financial assistance for Y participation but primarily for childcare and camp – essential for some low-income parents. Please join us for this special evening – you’ll be sure to have fun, and you’ll feel good knowing you’ve helped someone.
Choose from 24 different pallets for your project, fees will vary. For more info, contact Patti.
