CAMP OVERVIEW
Get ready for the ultimate summer adventure at the Lakeland Hills Family YMCA’s Rockaway River Country Club Camp! Nestled in the beautiful surroundings of a country club, this camp is packed with all the fun, learning, and new experiences your child could want. From golf lessons to swimming, tennis to arts and crafts, every day brings something new to explore. Whether they’re making new friends or discovering a passion for sports, this camp is the perfect spot for kids to stay active, build confidence, and create memories that will last a lifetime. With something for every interest and the expertise of the YMCA, your child is sure to have an unforgettable summer!
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN CAMP FEES WEEKLY
- 2 30-minute group golf lessons with golf pro
- 2 30-minute group tennis lessons with tennis pro
- 1 45-minute dance academy lesson with Dance Academy pro
- Catered lunch & snacks daily
- Recreational swimming period daily (weather permitting)
- 10 different morning rotations each week including
- Arts & Crafts
- Harmony Academy (Character Building)
- Lego Engineering & Construction
- Teambuilding Activities
- Minute to Win It Games
- Shark Tank (Create & Present Inventions)
- Camp Classic Games
- Giant Games
- STEAM Activities
- Sports & Field Games
- One fun and exciting theme day activity for each week. Theme days are scheduled on Monday Afternoons.
PROGRAM INFORMATION
- The Program Runs from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
- Campers can be dropped off at the main club house beginning at 8:30 am.
- Campers should be picked up from the pool area no later than 3:30 pm.
- Campers should bring a bathing suit and towel each day.
- Campers must wear sneakers to camp.
- Campers should bring a tennis racket on Wednesdays & Fridays.
- Campers should bring golf clubs on Tuesday & Thursdays.
