Leadership Team

Katie began her journey in fund development early on by volunteering and raising funds within her local community. After earning a B.A. in English from the University of Nebraska and a brief foray into the fashion industry, she launched her non-profit career with The Muscular Dystrophy Association. Her career advanced as she took on the role of Director of Development at an independent school for students with language-based learning disabilities. Katie remains passionate about disability awareness and inclusion, dedicating her time to volunteering at her son’s school and serving on the board Project Readiness. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, reading, and being outdoors.
