Boot Camp

Boot Camp is a combination of strength, cardio, muscle endurance, flexibility, core, and functional movement patterns. You everything you need in this class!

This 30-minute class takes cutting edge High Intensity Interval Training and combines it with powerful music and our very own inspirational instructors to give you a workout like no other! Each week the class rotates through Strength, PLYO, and Cardio.

Kickboxing Fierce Fight

A dynamic cardiovascular workout that utilizes boxing and martial arts style training techniques to improve strength, agility and endurance. This class is a definite cross-trainer to add to your workout. Class is adaptable to all levels.

Pilates and yoga-inspired moves crank up the speed to give you a full-throttle cardio, strength, and flexibility training. Barefoot preferred.

This combo class of cardio and weight training includes some of the techniques used in Pilades. Great for balance, this full body workout includes alternate squatting and standing to strengthen the inner and outer thighs, buttocks, core muscles, and back muscles.

P90X Live

P90X LIVE is a full-body, strength-training format featuring four unique blocks of work: Cardio X, Lower Strength, Upper Strength, and X Core. Constantly changing protocols will keep you from hitting a plateau.

Senior Fitness

This low-impact cardio workout is designed with the older adult in mind. You will start out with a warm-up and stretch, an easy-to-follow 20 minute cardio routine, muscle strengthening, and end with cool down/relaxation. The first Friday of the month is a Chair Yoga class.


Jump-start your cardio routine with a workout that invites without intimidating. Emphasis is on proper cycling technique while you control the intensity of this world class workout. Arrive 30 minutes before class to pick up your reservation ticket. Doors are opened by Spinning Coach 15 minutes before class so you can set up your bike for a proper fit and safe ride. A towel and water bottle are mandatory for class participation.

Step & Sculpt

For the “step” lover! This class is designed with variety in mind. Add the “sculpt” and you have a complete workout!

Designed for all levels, ages, and genders, this class incorporates learning how to dance, along with flexibility and correct posture alignment. The fitness aspect increases your heart rate which boosts your metabolism to burn calories. Focus is on country, jazz, and swing style dances.

Dance Fitness

Get a complete cardiovascular workout with this class as you get the benefits of jogging with the fun of dancing. Creatively choreographed for the non-dancer, yet challenging enough for experienced students. The great music almost makes you forget you’re working out!

Let’s Dance

This class combines Club, Latin, and Urban music that gets you moving for a fun and efficient hour of cardio!

This is an aerobic workout with pulsating Latin music that has an unbelievable affect on everyone who tries it! Incorporates footwork and body movements from flamenco, salsa, meringue and other dances. Come join the FUN and get ZUMBA-FIED! No experience necessary.

Chair Yoga

This is the gentlest form of yoga. Chair Yoga is easier for those with less limber muscles. Ideal for people with high blood pressure, anxiety, chronic fatigue syndrome, arthritis, vertigo, MS, carpel tunnel syndrome, chronic pain, and for anyone who finds it difficult to get up from or down to the floor. Class is held weekly.

Power Yoga

This fast paced yoga class is designed to focus more on strength, breathing and flow. You will be guided through a routine of postures (asanas) that are designed to make the body more fit and supple while at the same time allowing the mind to relax and rejuvenate. Yoga experience helpful.

Sport Yoga

This class incorporates traditional sports stretching, some Pilates mat exercises, and martial arts warm-ups. While Sport Yoga is 70% Hatha style, it focuses more on structure and balance. Beginners welcome!

Tai Chi/Qigong

This is an ancient Chinese exercise consisting of a series of slow, graceful movements. Emphasis is on relaxed posture and balance. These exercises will improve health, circulation, and balance while increasing flexibility. Recommended for everyone regardless of age and physical condition.

Vinyasa Yoga

A dynamic type of yoga with flowing movements connecting yoga postures into one fluid seamless exercise. It is energetic, with emphasis on breath-controlled yoga movements. Level II: Practicing for six months to one year consistently and comfortable with Sun Salutations and various asanas.

A fit and supple body is developed through the practice of postures (asanas). Taken from various Yoga disciplines, the asanas are taught with attention to correct positioning of the body so that each individual part as well as the various physiological systems can function to their best potential. Standing postures and breathing are emphasized in this class. Level II – Practicing for six months to one year consistently and comfortable with poses.

Yoga Therapy

The ancient art and science of Yoga is used to promote a healthy and well-functioning body and mind. This is a less “athletic” form of yoga and classes will focus on postures that help to manage pain, increase flexibility, and promote health and well-being. Each class will vary but everyone will leave feeling relaxed and replenished.

In conjunction with the Mountain Lakes Recreation Department, join us for our “famous” summer yoga and beach boot camp classes at Island Beach. Classes take place on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, beginning the week of June 25, weather permitting and are free and open to the community. No registration, just drop in! Barre Above fuses the very best of pilates, yoga, aerobics, and strength training. No dance experience necessary. Class includes modifications for any fitness level so you can feel successful when achieving an amazing workout!

Barre Essentials

A comprehensive and dynamic workout with movements inspired by ballet, yoga, and Pilates. You will incorporate isometric exercises, strengthening techniques as well as balancing postures. Benefits include increased flexibility, improved balance and posture, as well as muscle definition.


A total body workout that burns calories, shapes, and tones without building bulky muscles. The encouragement, motivation, and great music in every BODYPUMP class will achieve the results you want and deserve! Each class is 55 minutes in length.

An intense upper and lower body workout with a strong focus on defining the core muscles by challenging both strength and stability. Using a variety of equipment, this class will help you define your body from head to toe.
