Youth Gymnastics

Our gymnastics programs are designed to provide a safe, nurturing environment for children and youth to develop gymnastics skills as well the four YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

The Y has a variety of gymnastics programs for children to learn new skills, make new friends and have fun! They will also build confidence as they explore new interests.  Open to non-members.

Youth Gymnastics Programs

Tuck, Tumble & Jump

3-4 Years Old

Non-Members Welcome

This beginning level gymnastics class will introduce gymnastic equipment and teach beginner terminology. Kids will improve strength, coordination and flexibility while introducing new skills.

Beginner Gymnastics

4 – 5 Years Old

Non-Members Welcome

This class focuses on proper warm-up, skill development, flexibility, strength, coordination, and balance while working on high-beam, bars, vault and more advanced mat equipment.

6 Years Old & Up

Non-Members Welcome

Designed for beginner to intermediate levels, this class will focus on increasing coordination, balance, and strength through various events including bars, beam, floor and vault to allow for the development of newer and more complex skills. Our highly trained and energetic staff will get your little gymnast to the next level!

Cheer & Tumbling

6 years and older

Non-Members Welcome

Cartwheels, back walkovers, and back handsprings are some of the tumbling skills that will included. Jumps, voice projection, basic partner stunts, and choreography tips round out the curriculum in this fun class.
