I-SNAP (Individual Special Needs Aquatics Program) provides each child (ages 3 and potty trained through 18 yrs.) the support and the tools necessary to develop and increase basic aquatic skills in a safe environment. Program takes place at The Craig School in Mountain Lakes.
This class is for the swimmer who is at least of Flying Fish level who has learned the basics of all the strokes and wants to swim for exercise and fitness. Students will practice their swimming techniques and have endurance based workouts to incorporate their skills into a fitness routine.
Private lessons are a great way to fine tune technique or master that last skill to get to the next level in our group lesson program. Lessons are 30 minute one-on-one sessions with a Y swim instructor. Due to limited pool availability, private swim lessons are offered only during session breaks.
We also have private lessons available weekday mornings for adults and children who are current Y members. Contact Aquatics Director, Ed Soder for availability and questions.
